Since taking on the search engine optimisation for this designer home stores site 12 months ago, we have succeeded in doubling the number of visitors to the site and doubling the revenue generated. The initial work involved an extensive 3 month on-page optimisation excercise that helped to reduce the amount of duplicate content in the site, resulting in more of the site being indexed by Google. Subsequently, consistent back link building from a number of different sources, has strengthened the position of the site for a number of highly competitive keywords.

Craythorn has been working on a search engine optimisation campaign with the Rainforest Foundation since September 2007. Although the site was receiving a high number of visitors, it wasn't being found in the search engines for highly competitive keywords, such as 'rainforest'. After a thorough anaysis of the site, measures were taken to improve the sites ranking for the major keywords; since then, the site has gone from strength to strength and for the last 12 months has been on homepage of Google UK for a number of different keywords.
